ESME WARBURTON

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

As a Physiotherapist at Per4m Health, I help people move better, recover well, and rebuild confidence in their bodies. My work spans holistic assessment, hands-on treatment, and tailored rehabilitation programmes, supporting people through everything from injury recovery and pain management to maintaining long-term independence.

I graduated with a First-Class Honours BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Salford in 2025, having spent my degree gaining hands-on placement experience across community and inpatient settings. One of my favourite parts of this was leading group balance and falls-prevention sessions, where I learned to adapt each session on the spot to suit the confidence and fitness levels of everyone in the room. I've since gone on to complete additional training in Sports Massage and Sports Taping, adding further strings to my clinical bow.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me at the gym, trying out a new sport, or at a live concert with friends - always up for something that pushes me out of my comfort zone.

JORDAN BLACKBURNE

SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

As a Senior Physiotherapist, I bring elite sports medicine standards directly to your recovery and performance goals. My career has been built at the highest levels of professional football, including roles as Lead Academy Physiotherapist at Burnley FC, where I managed the medical care and rehabilitation of a 25-player squad, and assisting First Team medical staff on matchdays at both Burnley and Blackburn Rovers FC.

Working in professional sport has taught me how to get people back to peak fitness quickly, safely, and with lasting results. In this position, I am excited to elevate your care by offering elite performance testing using our state-of-the-art VALD equipment. By utilising this advanced technology, I can track your strength, asymmetries, and movement data with pinpoint accuracy, taking the guesswork out of your rehabilitation or athletic training.

What sets my practice apart is my ability to tailor these elite standards to absolutely any demographic. My clinical background is highly diverse, spanning extensive experience from acute, fast-paced hospital wards during my NHS rotations (covering MSK, Respiratory, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, and Emergency Care) to pitchside with elite athletes. This means whether you are a professional player aiming for a return-to-play date, a dedicated recreational athlete, or someone simply looking to move without pain and optimise your everyday health, you will receive the exact same meticulous attention to detail.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Bradford, alongside Level 5 ATMMiF and Level 4 ITTMiF certifications. I am fully CSP and HCPC registered, and am a member of the Pro Sport Mentorship programme, reflecting my commitment to staying at the forefront of clinical practice.
Whatever your background or starting point, I am here to build a friendly, professional, and data-driven pathway to help you reach your goals.

PETER HARFORD-BROWN

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

As a Physiotherapist at Per4m Health, I bring a strong clinical foundation together with a genuine passion for helping people perform at their best. I graduated with a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Salford, having completed clinical placements across acute medical, musculoskeletal outpatient, orthopaedics, and adult rehabilitation settings. During my studies, I was voted by my peers to represent the CSP as student representative, and I've also had a research abstract submitted for the 2026 CSP conference, exploring exercise barriers in Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome.

Before retraining in physiotherapy, I spent over a decade as a Senior Course Leader and outdoor instructor, building the trust and communication skills I now bring into every client's rehabilitation. I've also completed a Level 4 Sports Massage qualification.

Outside of work, I keep active through mountain biking, running, racket sports, and weightlifting - staying just as committed to my own fitness and resilience as I am to helping others build theirs.

CARA

RECEPTIONIST

I work across Reception and Communications at Per4m Health, focusing on delivering a smooth and consistent member experience from first enquiry through to ongoing gym floor and studio engagement. My role centres on building a strong member community, supporting day-to-day interactions, and ensuring members feel welcomed, informed, and connected.

Alongside this, I support community activity and marketing communications, helping to promote what we do at Per4m Health and strengthen engagement across the member base, with a particular focus on our reformer studio.

My journey at Per4m Health has taken me from a gym floor novice to a regular in our reformer studio, giving me a practical understanding of the member experience and how confidence and consistency are built over time.

I’m currently studying a Master’s degree in Digital Communications, with a background in recruitment, which supports my approach to onboarding, and relationship management. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me studying for my degree, trying out new recipes or planning my next hike.

SOPHIE HUDSON

LEVEL 2 GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

I work as a Level 2 Group Fitness Instructor with a background in athletics, rounders, and aerial fitness. I have a strong passion for training and make the gym a central part of my day-to-day life.

In my coaching, I focus on quality movement and long-term progression, helping clients build strength, confidence, and consistency through structured training. I put a great deal of care and attention into planning my classes, often going above and beyond to ensure each session is well-structured, purposeful, and adaptable to different abilities, so everyone feels supported and challenged.

I am passionate about strength training as a means to make both the mind and body feel strong, and I aim to create an environment where people feel confident in their movement and progress over time.

Outside of coaching, I enjoy spending time with my dogs Buster and Otis, catching up with friends, and unwinding in our reformer studio. I’m regularly on the gym floor and in classes, so be sure to say hello when you see me around.

RHIANNE ROBINSON

SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

I am a Senior Physiotherapist with experience working across both private practice and the NHS. Joining the team at Per4m was a natural decision, as the clinic strongly aligns with my own professional values and approach to patient care.

I studied Physiotherapy at the University of Bradford, gaining extensive experience practising in the surrounding areas. I currently work across both the Ribble Valley and Calder Valley sites, where my role focuses on combining hands-on therapy with tailored rehabilitation exercises to help patients maximise their recovery and return to full function.

Outside of work, I enjoy running in the fells with my dog, competing in triathlons, and spending time with friends. Staying active and maintaining fitness are central to my lifestyle, and I aim to bring that same enthusiasm and energy into my work as a physiotherapist.

JENNY FERN

Customer SERVICE

I support the Calder Valley Hebden Bridge Clinic part time welcoming clients to their appointments and classes and provide general administrative support to the team. I assist clients in booking classes and reformer packages and handle day to day appointment enquiries.

I have over 30 years public service experience from a wide range of job roles and am passionate about delivering excellent customer service and improving processes.

I love nature and walking in the countryside which we are lucky enough to have access to here in the Calder Valley and I enjoy swimming and gardening in my spare time – all of which keeps me fit. I value the importance of looking after one’s health (especially being an older member of the team!) and working with the supportive Team here really helps keep my focus on maintaining my fitness goals.

Dan qualified from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2013. He has extensive experience in a variety of musculoskeletal clinical settings including NHS and the private sector. Dan’s clinical interests include spinal & lower limb treatment/ rehabilitation with emphasis on returning to activity & sport. He mixes his role with us at TeaMM with Bupa Manchester. Dan is a keen golfer in his spare time and plays to a single figure handicap.

LACHLAN ROSENGREEN

GYM MANAGER

Per4m Health is a great place to work where no two days are the same for me. In my role as Gym Manager, I am responsible for a wide range of tasks to ensure the gym runs smoothly. Then, when I have my trainer hat on, I can be found taking members through challenging sessions, whether that be in the studio taking reformer classes or on the gym floor.

Growing up in Australia, I led an adventurous lifestyle. My personal success in sports and experiences in the outdoors inspired me to help clients see the joy that quality movement can bring. After studying Exercise and Sports Science, I began my career by coaching athletics (sprints) and rugby, before transitioning into the gym space, where I offer group classes and personal training with a focus on strength and rehabilitation.

I enjoy spending time outdoors with my young family, and then, when time permits, watching or participating in various sports. I love hosting friends, cooking and a good board game.

ALETHEA HANNAN

personal trainer/reformer Pilates instructor

I’m a personal trainer and reformer Pilates instructor. Day-to-day, I work with clients to help them reach their fitness goals, whether that’s improving strength, mobility, or overall wellbeing. I create tailored training plans, lead one-on-one and group sessions, and guide clients through safe and effective workouts. I also teach reformer Pilates classes, which focus on controlled movement, core strength, and alignment. Every day is different, and I love being part of my clients’ fitness journeys.

I was inspired to become a personal trainer through my own love of fitness. I’ve always enjoyed working out and wanted to learn more to improve my own training and understanding of the body. Getting qualified felt like a natural step — it started as something personal but quickly became a career I’m passionate about. Since qualifying, I’ve continued to grow by taking additional training, including in reformer Pilates, which has added a new dimension to the way I train clients.

Outside of work, I still spend a lot of time doing what I love — going to the gym, attending fitness classes, and running. I also enjoy spending time with friends, whether that’s grabbing a coffee, going for walks, or just catching up. Staying active and social outside of work helps keep me balanced and motivated.

MILLIE COY

Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer

I work as a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer at Per4m Health, where I lead both gym floor and Reformer Pilates classes, as well as provide 1:1 personal training and reformer sessions.

My passion for fitness began at a young age through athletics, where I competed in multi-events at county and regional levels for Lancashire and the North West. This early involvement inspired my career in personal training and group instruction.

I began my formal training in college, completing a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Fitness and Personal Training over three years. During that time, I also earned my Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification and became a certified Les Mills BODYPUMP instructor.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, walking, and training in the gym. I value a balanced lifestyle—fitness, wellbeing, and enjoying good food with friends and family.

LAURA HARROW

Customer Relations Manager/Class Instructor

I split my time between two roles: Customer Relations Manager and Class Instructor. In customer relations, I focus on creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all members, from greeting new clients and managing feedback to assisting with memberships and day-to-day enquiries.

As a class instructor, I lead a variety of group fitness sessions, tailoring each class to suit different needs, abilities, and goals. I’m passionate about helping people feel confident, challenged, and supported in their fitness journey.

My day-to-day is a mix of member interaction, class planning and delivery, and behind the scenes work to enhance the overall experience for everyone visiting Per4m Health.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me on the golf course, out running with friends, or spending time with family. I love staying active, being outdoors.

CHARLOTTE PRIOR

SPORTS THERAPIST

As a Sports Therapist at Per4m Health, I fulfill a diverse range of responsibilities. My day-to-day duties include leading both gym-based and Reformer Pilates classes, providing sports massage therapy, treating musculoskeletal injuries, and conducting rehabilitation-focused personal training sessions.

Growing up with a strong passion for sport, I was heavily involved in a variety of sports from a young age which taught me the value of discipline and teamwork, but also sparked a deep interest in how the body moves, functions, and recovers. From this I studied Sport and Exercise Therapy at Leeds Beckett University and graduated in 2024. This has allowed me to combine my personal experience in sport with professional knowledge to support clients through every stage of their rehabilitation and performance journey.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through running and the gym, reading, and cooking.

GEORGE BARNES

SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

I am the Senior Physiotherapist at PER4M Health in Whalley, where I specialise in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of individuals with a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. My role involves delivering personalised, evidence-based care to help clients recover, perform, and thrive.

I’ve always been fascinated by how the human body works — and more importantly, how we can help it recover when things go wrong. With a strong passion for both health and sport, physiotherapy has allowed me to combine these interests into a rewarding career. I first completed a degree in Sports Therapy in 2017, then went on to qualify as a Physiotherapist in 2023.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy staying active through gym training, running, and walking, as well as spending quality time with friends and family.

EBONY FLOOD

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

I’m a newly qualified physiotherapist, having recently completed my physiotherapy apprenticeship with the team. My day-to-day role involves assessing and treating patients with a wide range of MSK conditions—everything from back and neck pain to sports injuries and post-op rehab. I create tailored treatment plans, support patients in achieving their goals, and work closely with my colleagues to ensure high-quality care. I'm also continuing to build on my clinical knowledge and skills as I settle into the role.

I’ve wanted to be a physio from a young age. I played football to a high level, and after sustaining some injuries, I became really interested in the rehab process and the difference physiotherapists made. That personal experience motivated me to pursue a career in physiotherapy. I was fortunate to complete my training through an apprenticeship pathway with the team, which gave me hands-on experience while studying and really helped me grow both professionally and personally.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about fitness. I enjoy going to the gym, playing golf, and staying active. I also like spending time with friends and socialising.

JACK SIMM

SPORTS THERAPIST

I’m a Sports Therapist at Per4m Health, working across both our Ribble Valley and Calder Valley clinics. My day-to-day role involves assessing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries. I use a combination of hands-on therapy and tailored rehabilitation exercises to help people recover and return to their physical best. In addition to injury treatment, I also lead Reformer Pilates sessions—offering 1:1, 2:2, and group classes for all levels. These sessions focus on our core principles at Per4m Health: improving mobility, stability, and strength.

My passion for Sports Therapy began during my time in academy football. I played for Burnley FC’s academy from the age of 8 to 15 and, after experiencing several injuries, I spent a lot of time with the club’s physiotherapists. Their ability to help the body heal through movement and manual therapy sparked my own interest in anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation.

Following this path, I completed A-Levels in Maths, Biology, and Psychology, before earning a BSc in Sports Therapy from Edge Hill University.

Outside the clinic, I play cricket for Lowerhouse Cricket Club and stay involved in football as Head Therapist for Padiham FC in the North West Counties Football League. I’m also a keen golfer when time allows.

REBECCA COOK

SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST/HEAD OF OPERATIONS

I have a split role as a Senior Physiotherapist and Head of Operations/Physiotherapy at the Hebden Bridge clinic. Day to day I treat a variety of injuries and teach several reformer classes.

I have always been interested in anatomy and am a very active individual so Physiotherapy seemed like an easy career choice. I qualified in 2008 and worked briefly in the NHS before spending my last 14 years in private practice. I completed an MSc in Sports Injury whilst working as a pitchside Physiotherapist for various Rugby Union teams alongside this. Over the past three years I have expanded my knowledge to include some post natal care.

Outside of work I train and compete in eventing with my two horses. I have competed to the International CCI3* level and plan to progress as far as I can!

VICTORIA MURRAY

CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Victoria qualified with a degree in Events Management and built a successful career in the field for over 10 years, most recently working in Marketing for a tech company. Alongside her professional career, she was teaching reformer Pilates classes and conducting one-to-one personal training sessions, driven by her strong passion for health and fitness.

When Victoria met Michael, the two shared a vision to expand his physiotherapy clinics into something more - a place where rehab, fitness, and wellbeing could come together under one roof. That vision came to life in December 2023 with the opening of Per4m Health in Whalley, and more recently with the new centre in Hebden Bridge, now rebranded as Per4m Health.

Two years down the track, Per4m Health is a thriving community hub - embracing physiotherapy alongside a fully optimised gym, Reformer classes, on site GP and complemented by an in-house juice bar.

Victoria now channels her energy into running the business alongside Michael and helping people on their physical journey. She’s passionate about creating an inclusive, motivating space where individuals feel supported and empowered to take charge of their health.

Helping people become the best, healthiest version of themselves is what drives me every day,” Victoria comments. “There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone grow stronger, more confident, and more in control of their health.”

MICHAEL MURRAY

CLINICAL DIRECTOR & PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

Michael played for Rochdale AFC before pursuing his Physiotherapy qualification at Salford University through the Professional Football Association, combining academic expertise with practical sports experience. In 2013, he opened his own physiotherapy practice in the Calder Valley, driven by a commitment to delivering hands-on treatment and personalised care.

Over the years, Michael expanded his business by bringing more physiotherapists on board to support holistic rehabilitation and fitness. In 2018, he opened his second clinic in the Ribble Valley, further broadening his reach and services. Together with his wife, Victoria, he expanded the business to create Per4m Health, establishing a comprehensive health and fitness hub.

Michael provides expert physiotherapy and strength conditioning to his athletes, helping them perform at their best. His clients include Marco Penge, two-time DP World Tour winner; Kruise Leeming and Ethan Havard, Wigan Warriors Super League players, Challenge Cup winners, World Club champions, League Shield winners, and Super League Grand Final champions; Callan Barrow, Clutch Tour Order of Merit winner 2024; Jessica Dunn, who represents Great Britain in International Dressage; and Ellie Gower, The Calatayud Ladies Open winner 2024.
